Job Purpose And Summary:This position is responsible for directing the maintenance operations program of an assigned district for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC). Work includes the development and oversight of long and short range plans including the management of associated budgets and resources. Incumbents are given considerable latitude in the scheduling and finalization of work programs. Work performance is reviewed for attainment of PTC roadway maintenance program goals and objectives. Incumbents are expected to conduct assigned areas of responsibility with significant independence, receiving instruction and advice on matters involving departures from established policy. Supervision is exercised over supervisory, clerical and field employees.
